Trash to Treasure


I love on my walks to find things that people throw away and see the potential in their "trash". Some things we keep and other things I remake for yard sales.


TV Trays:

Little Tikes Car:
COST: About $10 in Spray paint

BEFORE: Found on the side of the road 
Hand painted the tail lights and license plate

AFTER: Race car!

Hand painted the steering wheel silver and the dashboard.

Created a flame stencil and spray painted the flames as a base and painted over it what is seen in the picture above.

END RESULT: A really great present for my son!





Truck has been spray painted and cleaned up. Was very dirty and faded.


Puzzle holder with puzzles in it on the side of the road. painted the top and sides and will paint the inside eventually.
Winnie the Pooh Bassinet
COST: $0 (just some elbow grease and laundry detergent)
SOLD: $8.00
BEFORE: Baby Bassinet I found on the side of the road. I wiped down all the plastic pieces and washed the fabric.
AFTER: Washed and ready for a baby...now all I need is a baby! ;)  Good as new!




Pirate Ship Watertable
COST: $0

BEFORE: a little dirty and a cracked plastic piece.
AFTER: cleaned up and set up!






















Rocking Chair
COST: $0 (I already had all the paints in our garage)

BEFORE: Rocking chair found on the side of the road.
AFTER: With painted bees to match the babies room




























Motorycycle (Stationary rocking or mobile) 
 COST: $6 in paint and spray paint

BEFORE: Motorcycle found on the side of the road.
AFTER: Hand painted with speedometer and license plate done in sharpie.
